SAMMY DAVIS, JR., PEGGY LIPTON & QUINCY JONES:

Sammy Davis, Jr. use to date actress Peggy Lipton (Mod Squad) in the early 70’s. The couple was invited to a yacht party but Lipton allegedly stood Davis up and he took his background dancer (Altovise) instead. Guests included: Sidney Poitier, Quincy Jones and Harry Belafonte. Quincy was coming off a divorce and told guests it was doubtful that he would ever marry again. Ironically, he would marry Peggy Lipton (the woman who stood Davis up) a few years later and Davis would marry Altovise.
