DARKSIDE:
Don
Landers was a respected doctor with great compassion for the poor. Landers
operated a free clinic in the tough tenderloin district of San Francisco.
Dr.
Landers decided to close the clinic early, it was Christmas Eve, he had plans
to meet his wife and son Walter.
Meanwhile,
Walter was rehearsing with his rock band in the garage. He played bass. He loved music with a passion, his father was unimpressed, Dr. Landers wanted
Walter to become a white collar professional.
Across
town, Dr. Landers locked up the clinic. He was walking down Turk Street
towards the Powell Street Bart Station when gunshots rang out. Dr. Landers
was caught in the crossfire; he died from a bullet wound to the head.
Later
that evening, two teenagers were apprehended, an African-American and a Latino. The case went to trial, since both were under 18, they were sentenced
to the Youth Authority until they reached twenty-one. Walter was outraged.
Walter
became withdrawn and quit the band. He buckled down and studied hard,
he graduated from College with a degree in Advertising and accepted a job with
one of the top advertising firms in San Francisco.
Walter
moved up the ladder quickly and he did everything in his power to keep minorities
down. He wouldn’t promote them and barely acknowledged them. They
would pay for killing his father.
Walter
began leading a double life, he became a member of a white supremacy website. The website sold Confederate flags, Klan robes, buttons and CD’s. He developed a marketing plan for them, their profits tripled.
The
Internet provided him anonymity.
Walter
married a beautiful blonde socialite named Evie. They became popular in
San Francisco society circles. They were regulars at the Symphony and
the Opera.
The
Klan was impressed with Walter, they extended several invitations to him; he
politely declined via email, they understood, many members preferred anonymity.
Two
of the Klansmen, Buck and Henry were having beers at a redneck bar, they decided
on the spur of the moment to surprise Walter. They had a Klan hacker trace Walter’s
home address via email. They jumped on their Harley’s.
They
arrived in San Francisco and followed a map to Walter’s house. They arrived
and rang the doorbell, a beautiful blonde answered, Buck asked, is this the
Landers residence? Evie said yes as she looked the men up and down in
a distasteful manner, Henry said, Ma’m, we are here to meet Walter Landers.
Evie asked, how do you know my husband? Before they could respond,
a man’s voice asked, honey, who’s at the door? Walter stepped forward.
FOLLOWING
DAY HEADLINES:

in their home from multiple stab wounds. No suspects are in custody.
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION:
It
has long been rumored that the founder of a black separatist group was actually
a white man passing for a light skinned black man at the turn of the century.
As
portrayed in the Showtime movie “The Believer,” a young Jewish
man would hide his ethnicity and join a Neo-Nazi group, when a newspaper revealed
his ethnicity, he committed suicide, this movie was based on a true story.
Dialogue
from the Showtime film “Who Killed Atlanta’s Children.”
Klansman:
“You wouldn’t believe the motherfuckers that
are with us, big money too, we even got a ‘black policeman on our death
squad.”
Informant:
Oh shit, an n----- in the Klan?
Klansman:
“That’s right boy, you don’t gotta be white to be one of us, you just
gotta think right".
